Wired meter reading can be divided into pulse type (active), camera type (passive), resistance type (passive) and photoelectric type (passive). From the reliability of technology, development direction and market share, photoelectric is the mainstream way.
The meaning of direct reading meter is that power is not supplied at ordinary times, while power is supplied for meter reading.
